Any time is a great time to teach our young ones about science.....like the leaves changing colour and the other natural occurances in nature that happen at this wondrous time of year.....

Conducting  apple tasting in the classroom can be fun, which facilitates in teaching the anatomy of the apple, in addition teaching different regions of the tongue ( tastebuds ) and how they all have different functions.....salty, sweet, bitter, sour.....Kids love to learn about their own bodies.....and using a hand held mirror to look at different taste buds on one's tongue is always fun.....

APPLEstory also is a great segue into working on the Social Responsibility Prescribed Learning Outcomes for Kindergarten right through to Grade Three.....as the premise of this book is focused on sharing.....
